In total, 151 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 20 September hospital treatment is being provided to 151 individuals who have symptomatic COVID-19. A total of 175 patients with COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment, including 127 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 72.6% of the overall figure), and forty-eight patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 27.4% of the overall figure).

Thirty new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. Two new deaths have been registered within the past 24 hours, involving a 79 year-old man and an 84 year-old man.

The last 24 hours have also seen 4,418 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 366 were positive. In total, 366 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while ninety-two infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 1,753 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,334,949 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Of the total adult population in Estonia, 66.1% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
