In total, 147 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 15 September there are 147 individuals with symptomatic COVID-19 who require hospital treatment. A total of 165 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment, including 119 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 72.1% of the overall figure), and forty-six patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 27.9% of the overall figure).

Twenty-one new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. Two new deaths have been registered within the past 24 hours, involving an 81 year-old woman and an 88 year-old man.

The last 24 hours have seen 6,071 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 525 were positive. In total, 388 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while 137 infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 4,145 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,318,525 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Of the total adult population in Estonia, 65.7% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
