In total, 131 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 6 September, 131 individuals with symptomatic COVID-19 require hospital treatment. In total, hospital treatment is being supplied to 147 patients who have COVID-19, including 119 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 81% of the overall figure), and twenty-eight patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 19% of the overall figure).

Fourteen new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. One coronavirus-related death was also registered within the past 24 hours, involving a 98 year-old woman.

The last 24 hours have seen 3,357 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 212 were positive. In total, 161 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while fifty-one infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 2,342 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,288,108 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Overall, 64.9% of all adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

As of the morning of 20 January, hospital treatment is being provided to 322 individuals who have been infected with COVID-19. A total of 227 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment after having developed serious symptoms, including 180 patients who have not been vaccinated (which covers 79.3% of the overall figure), and forty-seven patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 20.7% of the overall figure).
