In total, 130 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 8 September there are 130 individuals with symptomatic COVID-19 who require hospital treatment. A total of 152 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment, including 121 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 79.6% of the overall figure), and thirty-five patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 20.4% of the overall figure).

Twenty new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. No new deaths have been registered.

The last 24 hours have seen 6,012 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 488 were positive. In total, 372 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while 116 infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 3,619 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,295,410 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Of the total adult population in Estonia, 65.1% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
