In total, 123 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 10 September there are 123 individuals with symptomatic COVID-19 who require hospital treatment. A total of 150 patients who have COVID-19 are currently receiving hospital treatment, including 116 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 77.3% of the overall figure), and thirty-four patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 22.7% of the overall figure).

Twenty new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. Two new deaths have been registered within the past 24 hours, involving a 91 year-old man and a 92 year-old woman.

The last 24 hours have seen 6,446 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 540 were positive. In total, 395 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while 145 infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 3,452 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,302,241 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Of the total adult population in Estonia, 65.3% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
