In total, 122 individuals are being treated in hospitals due to symptomatic COVID-19

As of the morning of 3 September, 122 individuals with symptomatic COVID-19 require hospital treatment. In total, hospital treatment is being supplied to 135 patients who have COVID-19, including 109 patients who have not been vaccinated (which means 80.3% of the overall figure), and twenty-six patients who have been fully vaccinated (which amounts to 19.7% of the overall figure).

Nine new COVID-19 cases have been opened by hospitals within the past 24 hours. One coronavirus-related death was also registered within the past 24 hours, involving a 71 year-old woman.

The last 24 hours have seen 5,053 tests being analysed in Estonia in relation to coronavirus, of which the results of 346 were positive. In total, 260 of the new cases were unvaccinated, while eighty-six infected individuals had completed the vaccination process.

A total of 3,528 vaccine doses have been administered over the past 24 hours, and 1,279,274 vaccine doses have been administered overall. Overall, 64.6% of all adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

As of 1 December, all cross-border travellers are required to complete the cross-border traveller’s declaration

Due to the risk of importing the new Omicron variant of coronavirus, anyone who wishes to enter Estonia must complete the cross-border traveller’s declaration as of 1 December. This order will remain in force until 16 December. The declaration can be completed via the Health Board’s self-service environment at: iseteenindus.terviseamet.ee.
