COVID-19 blog, July 1: the pace of COVID-19’s spread continues to slow

The daily increase over the last fourteen days (the maximum COVID-19 incubation period) averaged 0.1% (specifically between 0.0% and 0.2%) of the cumulative number of cases which have arisen between 16-29 June. Cases were registered in four counties: Harju County, Ida-Viru County, Tartu County, and Valga County.

As of 30 June, a total of 1,393 persons have recovered (70.0% of the total figure). In the case of 436 persons, more than 28 days have passed from a positive test.

As of 30 June, a total of 1,989 laboratory-confirmed cases have been registered. The incidence per 100,000 people is 150.1. The fourteen-day cumulative morbidity rate per 100,000 persons is 1.1.

From 1 June 2020, on each Wednesday, the Health Board will start transmitting weekly overviews of corona statistics together with an assessment of the epidemiological situation. Daily press releases will continue when there are five or more people a day who have contracted COVID-19.

The open data will continue to be updated daily at 10:30, and it is based on this data that Koroonkaart.ee can update its own information every day at the same time. We are working to ensure that data regarding hospital treatment is added to the open data by the end of the week.

A daily updated overview of hospital treatment will be added to the Health Board's website by the end of the week. Data can be found in the coronavirus database: www.terviseamet.ee/koroonakaart.
